DRIVERS ARE ALLOWED TO TAKE THEIR CARS TO THE CAR SERVICE ACCORDING TO MILITARY ORDINANCE NO. 8 OF 09.04.2020
Close to midnight last night, on 9 April, the authorities of the Minister of Interior held a new press conference to promulgate MILITARY ORDER No. 8 on measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This brought good news for motorists who are allowed to go to car services to fix their cars. Drivers have to tick in their affidavit that the reason for the trip is for the purpose of insuring goods covering basic personal needs.
Military Ordinance No 8 is published in the Official Gazette of Romania on 10 April 2020.
Art.1 – (1) It is allowed the movement outside the residence/household of the holders of commercial fishing authorizations/permits on the Danube/inland waters/Black Sea for the purpose of carrying out commercial fishing and aquaculture activities, as well as for the valorization/marketing of the products resulting from these activities.
Art.1 – Paragraph. 3 Movement outside the dwelling/household is allowed for the purchase of motor vehicles, motor vehicle spare parts and car repair services.
Art.1 – Para. 5 In the affidavit, the persons referred to in paragraphs (1) and (2) shall mention, as a reason, the movement for professional purposes and the persons referred to in paragraph (3) shall mention, as a reason, the movement for the provision of goods covering the basic needs of the persons.
